From there, Dr. Lahar went on to earn his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. His surgical foundation was built through rigorous training, including residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers.
